Gamay "Swissness"

Gamay is the second-most-commonly produced red wine in Switzerland and is a wonderful example of an easy-drinking red that requires little work to enjoy. Originally known as the peasant wine in France, it is prized for its bright fruit and light tannins, and it is surprisingly easy to finish the bottle before you realize it. 

Bouquet: Floral nose of plum, blackcurrants, and freshly picked raspberries.

Palate: Well-balanced with bright and crisp notes of underripe raspberry and a pleasant touch of acidity and round tannins.

Pairings: A versatile wine that can be enjoyed across various pairings. Some of the most prominent pairings include turkey, duck confit, pizza, and a range of creamy cheeses, such as Brie and Camembert.
