Part of our mission is to represent the iconic Swiss grape of Gamay from all regions of Switzerland. Cave de la Cote's Gamay is the second in our portfolio to open as the introductory red wine of Switzerland. It is famed for its fresh round body, fruit-forward palate, and beautiful tannic structure. This wine is the perfect medium-body red wine for practically any occasion. 


Boquet:

 Floral nose of plum, blackcurrants, and freshly picked raspberries.

Palate: 

Lovely freshness and floral fruit-forwardness followed by red fruits and cherry notes complimented great acidity and tannic structure. 

Pairings: 
Gamay is an excellent charcuterie and tapas wine. The best pairings are within red sauce pastas, lasagna, and my personal favorite pairing, pizza.
